I’m obsessed with this recipe and I’m not even sorry. Pretend your grandma’s moist af banana bread had a baby with the most perfect carrot cake and you get this amazing, almost too good to be true banana bread carrot cake.
I’m obsessed with banana bread and equally obsessed with carrot cake, so I definitely couldn’t pass this recipe up! I love to make two or three loaves and share with my family or neighbors. This combo is a crowd pleaser!

The original recipe has instructions for an amazing cream cheese icing, but I usually skip it. If I’m feeling the yummy goodness of icing, I usually just make the basic cream cheese icing with a dash of cinnamon or opt for a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
While this recipe is originally intended to be made in a loaf pan, it makes amazing muffins, too. I often pair them with a smoothie and some eggs for a great plate it breakfast.
Personally, I use plant milk 90% of the time because I am lactose intolerant, but it works with nut milk and regular milk, too.
There really is no wrong way to customize this recipe!
Next time, I’ll add candied nuts and dried chopped cherries on top. Raisins, dried apples, and zucchini also make great additions.
