Uhm, ok. It’s freaking July! I cannot believe it’s halfway through 2018 already! I am so ready to crush my July goals and get ready for the rest of the year. I’ve been really slacking on most of my goals lately due to a lot of stress in my personal life, because of all of the stress, I’ve been spending a lot of time just focusing on not falling back into destructive behaviors. 18 Annoying Things Not to Say to a Person of Mixed Race

I started this post in the notes section of my phone back in August during a fit of anger after a customer where I worked assumed I was white and then proceeded to insist I help her over my black coworker. I plastered on a fake smile and helped her pick out five or six items while she went on and on about “those people”. As a minority in a small southern town, I’ve gotten used to ignoring ignorant, narrow-minded people, but this lady really go to me. Perhaps it was that while I was used to the subtle digs at my skin tone, the seemingly innocuous remarks about my hair texture, I wasn’t used to somebody being blatantly, in my face, unapologetically racist. Poshmark :: Extra Money & Shoes

The first step is admitting you have a problem, right? That’s what I always hear anyway. Well, guys, I have a shopping problem. I won’t get too into the ridiculousness of it all, but I literally cannot store all of my shoes, clothes, and accessories without resorting to boxes and just stuffing them everywhere. What Self Care Looks Like For Me

Self care is something that is so incredibly important. And yet, we often only hear about self care when somebody has had a tough workout or when mental health is having a moment in the media.
