It’s the season for gifting! Gifts are my love language so I really enjoy this season. I spend all year scouting for gifts (and forgetting to buy them until too late) and I love to pick gifts that give back! I think it’s so important to support and promote businesses that focus on making a lasting change.
Today I’ll be sharing brands I love and support, along with talking about their missions, and I hope you’ll check out some of them!
This is hands down one of my favorite companies! I wore my classic bullet necklace until the chain got all gross (about 2 years); I really need to get it cleaned. Half United’s mission is to fight hunger and provide meals to those in need in the United States and Haiti. To date, they’ve provided almost 800,000 meals to children.
Every Half United product purchased provides 7 meals to a hungry child. They help with after school programs, community gardens, natural disasters and more. You can learn more about their mission and how they utilize their funding here.
They have amazing necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bags, and tee shirts. Half United has tons dainty options, along with their signature bullet necklace.
The Giving Keys
I actually purchased some ‘Strength’ bracelets for bestie gifts this year because I love their mission. The Giving Keys focus is on helping people transition out of homelessness. To date, they’ve helped people transitioning out of homelessness by providing over 146,000 hours of work. You can find more info about them and their mission here.
ABLE’s mission is to help end generational poverty by providing jobs for women and empowering them. Their mission is based on the belief that protecting and investing in women will help, and eventually end. generational poverty. You can read more about their mission, where ABLE provides jobs, and more here.
ABLE produces a wide variety of products, making them a fantastic option for pretty much everybody in your family. From shoes, clothes, bags, and a wide array of jewelry, ABLE has so many amazing, women made products.
There are so many other amazing companies out there that give back to the community and the world, but these are my three favorites.
Also – about the really long absence in my Blogmas posts :: Sorry! I’ve had an insane week with a family funeral, new job, and a few other life things that have come up! But I plan to be back in action and finishing up Blogmas, with a little tweak to the lineup : )
And thanks to everybody that entered my giveaway! I had so much fun doing it and plan to do another one soon.
