Hey y’all! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged. I’ve been just focusing on every day and enjoying it. But now I’m back! I realized a week or so ago I missed blogging and connecting with y’all. I’m sharing my June goals! Make sure to share your June goals with me in the comments.
As I do at the beginning of every month, I sat down and goal set for June! I set new goals each month that correlate and help me reach my larger yearly and life goals.
Financial Goal :: Budget & Save
At the end of last month, Cody and I purchased a new vehicle for him. We’ve been living without any large monetary responsibilities our entire relationship, so added debt and the large monthly bill will be very new to us. We’ve decided to take budgeting serious af!
This means I went through our spending for the last few months and y’all, we spend money on tons of bullshit. So we’re committing to eating out less, shopping more intentionally, and saving more deliberately.
If our budget is effective (and even if it’s not), I’ll share its evolution in a few months. I know for me, I had trouble finding an example online that was similar to our life.
We also have a huge goal of paying off all our other debt (about 6500) before the end of the year. We are making extra payments each month and pushing hard for this goal.
We are also simultaneously saving for a family trip in October.
Side Hustle Goal :: Make That $$$
I’m on the side hustle grind lately because I’ve got huge goals for our future home (when we move states) and I don’t want to compromise. In order to do that, I’ve got to really focus and be consistent with my earnings.

I’ve started a couple of new, online side hustles that I found via YouTube. If they work out and consistently make money, I’ll be sure to share them!
Health & Wellness Goal :: Be Consistent & Complete My Program
I was pretty consistent last year and lost about twenty pounds. Since then, I’ve kept it off and fluctuate the typical 4-6 pounds.
However, the last month has been a straight hot mess. Some of my disordered eating habits came back with a vengeance and I’ve not been working out consistently. So a couple of weeks ago I sat down and created my fitness plan for the next two months and revisited my mindful eating program. I’m sharing all the good, the bad, and the amazing on my Instagram, so you can follow along if you want!

I’m fully prepared to move forward and make strides in my health! I’m also excited because I love the program I’m doing and my nutrition program is hella flexible — meaning I don’t have to give up my favorite foods. I’m aiming for a 90/10 (clean to treat ratio) for the first two weeks and then an 80/20 after that.
I am switching to a mostly (98/2) dairy-free lifestyle because I’m lactose intolerant. I’ve always been and just ignored it in the past, but recently it’s started to negatively impact my skin so I’m cutting out almost all dairy. I can’t say it’ll be completely because we eat out enough that some are bound to sneak in.
I’ve also started meditating in the mornings and making time to reflect on things I’m thankful for each day. I’ve seen a huge shift in my mindset and I’m looking to keep it going!
